Whenever we change
ourselves and our circumstances, everyone else around us seems to
mysteriously "change."
The Wonderful News About YOU.
by Sir Vincent
Whenever you feel hopeless, or somebody giving
you a hard time and you have no idea how to change him or her, to
see things the way you do, don't worry. Just do what you can
easily do yourself, that is, change yourself. Whenever we change
ourselves and our circumstances, everyone else around us seems to
mysteriously "change." Better still, when you find it looks
impossible to change, pray this prayer,
"God, grant me the Serenity to accept the people I cannot
change, the Courage to change the one I can, and the Wisdom to
know it's me. "
The next time you feel GOD can't use you, just remember the
ancient Hebrews..
* Noah was a drunk and you know how God used him to save a few
people and animals.
* Abraham was too old and out of him came the entire Hebrew race.
* Isaac was a daydreamer like most people you know
* Jacob was a liar like some people you know!
* Leah was ugly, so ugly that Jacob had to work seven more years
to marry her sister too
* Joseph was abused but saved his family from starvation
* Moses had a stuttering problem but led the Hebrews out of
captivity
* Gideon was afraid
* Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
* Rahab was a prostitute
* Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
* David had an affair with somebody's wife and was a murderer
* Elijah was suicidal
* Isaiah preached naked
* Jonah ran from God
* Naomi was a widow
* Job went bankrupt
* John the Baptist ate bugs
* Peter denied Christ
* The Disciples fell asleep while praying
* Martha worried about everything

No more excuses now. God can use you to your full
potential.
